Otsuka is located between Toshima Ward and Bunkyo Ward.

It has such a quiet and peaceful atmosphere that it is hard to believe that Ikebukuro is close by.Shop-lined streets with 24-hour book stores and restaurants selling attractively priced lunches spread out around the station, and it is a convenient area for busy business people.
In recent years, Otsuka area has drawn attention for its redevelopment.
The station building has undergone a renewal, and the commercial complex Atrevie Otsuka now occupies Basement 1 through Floor 4, while Floors 5 through 12 contain a sports gym, nursery school and offices. -
